Job DescriptionA non-profit welfare organisation that exists to reach orphan and vulnerable children and restore communities for generational change, is seeking a Bookkeeper, who will be the assistant to the CFO. The organisation is based in Sea Point, thus ideally looking for someone based in that region (for occasional office visits), however, remote working is the focus for this role.
Responsibilities:- Bookkeeping to trial balance for three non-profit organisations based in SA, USA and UK.
- Bookkeeping of petty cash
- Processing monthly journals
- Performing monthly reconciliations
- VAT reconciliations
- Management accounting
- Allocate transactions according to donor requirements
- Project reporting & reconciliation
- Efiling - VAT201 and EMP201 submissions
- VAT audit preparation & submission
- Audit pack preparation
- General office management to ensure the correct management of document flow
Requirements- A passion for the non-profit sector

- Good communication skill with the ability to resolve queries and processing errors
