Job Description
A dynamic and fast-growing digital media agency is looking for an experienced professional Bookkeeper to support its financial and administrative operations. Working with a creative and client-focused team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and seamless business support all while enjoying the independence of a contractor role. This is a remote position for 20 hours per week, with occasional in-person meetings in Midrand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage invoices and quotations
  • Follow up with clients on outstanding payments
  • Maintain financial records using Sage
  • Perform general bookkeeping tasks and reconciliations
  • Provide administrative support related to finance and operations
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure accurate and timely reporting


Requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a National Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Finance (or equivalent)
  • Additional certifications in Sage or other accounting software would be advantageous
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
  • Proficiency in Sage and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Preferably located near Midrand, Gauteng, for occasional in-person meetings
