Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Blockchain Security Engineer to join a globally distributed team. You will identify vulnerabilities, develop security measures, and respond to incidents from your own workspace.

You will conduct security assessments on blockchain networks, write automated tooling, and collaborate with developers to embed security into the SDLC. Prior blockchain security experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity engineering, with a specialization in blockchain security.
• Solid understanding of blockchain technology, cryptographic principles, and common vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or JavaScript for security scripting.
• Experience with security tools for vulnerability scanning, static/dynamic analysis, and network security.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Familiarity with smart contract security best practices is highly desirable.
