Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Blockchain Security Analyst to join our client in George on a hybrid basis. You will identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities across blockchain infrastructure and smart contracts, safeguarding digital assets and ensuring the integrity of decentralized platforms.

You will work with development teams to embed security best practices across the software lifecycle, conduct audits and pen tests, and monitor for emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security audits and penetration testing of smart contracts , dApps, and blockchain protocols.
• Analyze blockchain transactions and network activity to detect and respond to potential security threats and exploits.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Security Analyst with a strong focus on blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies .
• Deep understanding of common smart contract vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, integer overflow, gas limit issues) and their mitigation techniques.
• Proficiency in analyzing blockchain data using tools like Etherscan, BscScan, or custom scripts.
• Experience with security auditing tools and methodologies relevant to smart contracts and decentralized applications.
• Knowledge of cryptographic principles and their application in blockchain security.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities for reporting complex security findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
