Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Cryptography, Mathematics, or related theoretical field.
• Proven experience in blockchain protocol research or deep theoretical understanding of distributed ledger technologies.
• Strong background in cryptography, network security, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with game theory and its application to decentralized systems is highly desirable.
• Experience with simulation tools and formal verification methods.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to conduct independent research in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and track record of publications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research into blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography.
• Design, simulate, and analyze new blockchain protocols and network architectures.
• Develop theoretical models and proofs to validate security and efficiency of proposed protocols.
• Evaluate performance, scalability, and security of existing and emerging blockchain technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research findings into practical implementations.
• Stay at the forefront of academic and industry research in distributed systems and cryptography.
• Publish research findings in journals and present at international conferences.
• Contribute to strategic direction of the company's blockchain research initiatives.
• Identify potential research challenges and propose innovative solutions.
