Placements24 is seeking a Blockchain Business Analyst for a remote role. You will bridge business objectives with technical blockchain solutions, gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and designing outcomes across distributed teams.

You will define product roadmaps, translate market needs into technical specs, and drive implementation with stakeholders in product and engineering. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in tech or financial services.
• Demonstrable understanding of blockchain technology and its potential applications.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process modeling, and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in creating detailed documentation (BRDs, FSDs, user stories).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Familiarity with smart contracts and decentralized applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for blockchain projects.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis within the blockchain space.
• Map current and future state business processes, identifying areas for improvement through blockchain.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business, product, and engineering teams.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and define solutions.
• Develop user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Assist in prioritization of features and development tasks.
• Evaluate and recommend blockchain solutions and technologies.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation reviews.
