Placements24 is seeking a Biostatistician to join a fully remote team in South Africa. You will design SAPs, perform complex statistical analyses for clinical trials, and help interpret results for regulatory submissions.

The role requires a Master's/Ph.D. in Biostatistics or related field with 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in SAS and R; strong regulatory knowledge is essential.

Formación

• Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Biostatistician, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as SAS (required) and R.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial methodologies and regulatory requirements for data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop statistical analysis plans (SAPs) for clinical studies.
• Perform statistical analyses of clinical trial data using SAS, R, or similar statistical software.
• Interpret statistical results and collaborate with other teams to translate findings into conclusions and recommendations.
• Contribute to the development of clinical study reports (CSRs) and regulatory submission documents.
• Ensure adherence to statistical best practices, regulatory guidelines, and company SOPs.
• Consult with study teams on study design, sample size calculations, and data collection strategies.
