About the Role

Our client, a globally recognized architectural practice known for its large-scale, complex projects, is seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to join their fully remote team. This critical role involves overseeing the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across diverse architectural projects. You will be responsible for developing BIM strategies, establishing standards, coordinating models, and ensuring seamless data flow between project teams working from various locations. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise in BIM software, a strong understanding of architectural workflows, and proven experience managing BIM on major projects in a remote setting. We are looking for a proactive leader dedicated to optimizing design and construction processes through advanced digital technologies, offering significant flexibility and impact from a home-based role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage BIM execution plans for large-scale architectural projects.
• Establish and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead the coordination of architectural, structural, and MEP models to identify and resolve clashes.
• Manage the BIM team and provide technical guidance and support remotely.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of BIM data throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the generation of drawings, schedules, and other deliverables from BIM models.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and clients to define BIM requirements and deliverables.
• Stay current with emerging BIM technologies, software updates, and industry trends.
• Facilitate virtual training sessions on BIM software and workflows for project teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes and workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in BIM implementation and management, with at least 5 years focused on large architectural projects.
• Professional accreditation or certification in BIM management is highly desirable.
• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM software.
• Proven experience in developing and managing BIM standards and execution plans.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage remote teams effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with various collaboration platforms and remote work tools.
• SACAP registration is advantageous.
