Placements24 is seeking a talented Data Analyst for a fully remote role, with a focus on extracting insights from complex datasets to support strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL, data analysis, and BI tools, and able to present findings clearly to stakeholders.

You will collect, clean, analyze, and visualize data, develop dashboards, and collaborate with global teams in a remote-first environment. Upington, Northern Cape ties are considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Proven experience in data analysis/BI.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and KPIs.
• Develop and implement dashboards and reports using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
• Translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
• Develop and maintain data models for reporting and analysis.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to address business questions.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency in analyses.
