The role emphasizes backend work with microservices, DDD, TDD, and event-driven architecture. Strong fundamentals and willingness to learn new languages are essential; remote setup is supported with a salary up to R960K per year.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years backend experience shipping to production.
• Hands-on with microservices, DDD, TDD and event-driven design.
• Familiar with CQRS, Saga, and circuit breakers.
• Strong software fundamentals: reasoning about complexity and failures.
• Comfortable in at least one backend language and eager to learn others.
• Proactive communicator; asks questions and stays engaged when stuck.
