Placements24 is seeking a Remote Automotive Quality Engineer to join the team from home. You will develop and implement quality plans, analyze data, and drive CAPA to ensure vehicle safety and reliability across products.

Responsibilities include audits, documentation, and collaboration with global engineering and manufacturing. A bachelor's in engineering and 3+ years in automotive quality are required, with ISO/IATF knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• 3+ years of experience in automotive quality engineering.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality plans for automotive components and systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement CAPA.
• Monitor and analyze quality data from production, testing, and field performance.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality requirements are met.
• Perform internal and supplier audits to assess compliance with quality standards.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection procedures and control plans.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
