Job summary

Simera is seeking a detail-oriented Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that ensure software products meet high quality standards. You will collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and validate APIs, web, and mobile applications.

The role covers building scalable automation frameworks, integrating with CI/CD, and maintaining test suites.

Qualifications

Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
Hands-on with at least one major automation framework.
Experience with functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Experience testing web and mobile applications and APIs.
Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and test suites.
Analyze requirements and specifications to identify automation opportunities.
Create and execute automated tests for functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
Develop reusable automation frameworks and components.
Identify, reproduce, and track software defects.
Maintain and update tests as applications evolve.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured.
Collaborate with developers, QA, product managers, and stakeholders.
Monitor results and communicate defects, risks, and progress.
