Placements24 is seeking an Area Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites, primarily remotely with occasional on-site visits. You will develop strategic plans, mentor remote supervisors, and manage budgets for a broad geographic area.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to drive performance across dispersed teams using remote management tools and reporting software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in cleaning or facility management, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role overseeing multiple locations.
• Proven ability to manage teams remotely and drive operational excellence across dispersed sites.
• Strong understanding of cleaning operations, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent financial acumen and experience managing departmental budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic cleaning plans for designated geographical areas, ensuring optimal service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage, mentor, and motivate remote cleaning supervisors and their teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Oversee operational budgets for the assigned area, controlling expenses and identifying efficiency improvements.
• Ensure all cleaning operations comply with health, safety, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct regular remote performance reviews and site visits (as needed) to assess quality and provide feedback.
• Manage supplier relationships and procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment for all sites within the area.
