Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled AI Infrastructure Engineer to join a fully remote team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure to support AI/ML training, deployment, and experimentation in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities include cloud design on AWS/Azure/GCP, constructing CI/CD pipelines for ML models, and optimizing performance, reliability, and costs. Proficiency in Terraform and Python/Bash is essential to collaborate with data scientists and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience with cloud platforms.
• Experience with MLOps tools (Kubeflow, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work in a remote distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure for AI/ML workloads.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for ML models and infra.
• Optimize infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, reliability.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for AI infra.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to understand needs and provide support.
