Placements24 is seeking an AI Ethics and Responsible AI Lead to guide ethical AI across the organization from a fully remote team.

You will establish governance, develop policies, train staff, monitor global regulations, and collaborate with researchers, legal, and executives to ensure fair, transparent, and accountable AI.

The ideal candidate has an advanced degree and at least seven years in AI ethics or policy, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Formación

• Advanced degree required in a relevant discipline such as Ethics, Law, Public Policy, CS, Philosophy or Sociology.
• 7+ years of experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, technology policy, or a related domain with leadership experience.
• Deep knowledge of AI technologies, machine learning principles and their ethical implications.
• Experience in developing and implementing AI governance frameworks and ethical review processes.
• Strong understanding of global AI regulations, compliance requirements and best practices.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly influential and experienced AI Ethics and Responsible AI Lead to join their completely remote team. This pivotal leadership role will drive the strategy and implementation of ethical AI practices across all of the company's artificial intelligence initiatives. You will be responsible for establishing robust governance frameworks, developing comprehensive policies, and fostering a culture of ethical responsibility throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AI technologies, ethical principles, and global regulatory landscapes, combined with exceptional leadership and communication skills. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the evolving landscape of AI ethics, regulations, and best practices globally, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to relevant AI regulations and standards.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to senior leadership and project teams on AI ethics and responsible AI matters.
• Foster a culture of ethical awareness and accountability for AI development and use.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a relevant field such as Ethics, Law, Public Policy, Computer Science, Philosophy, or Sociology.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, technology policy, or a related domain, with demonstrable leadership experience.

• Expertise in developing and implementing AI governance frameworks and ethical review processes.
