Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote AI Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for AI/ML initiatives. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to influence data-driven AI projects from your home office.

You'll work with data scientists to ensure data quality across warehouses and lakes, implement ETL/ELT processes, and stay current with big data tech, cloud services, and data governance in a collaborative remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of data engineering experience with AI/ML projects.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable data pipelines with Spark or similar.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL skills.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and their data services.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala.
• Ability to work effectively in remote teams.

Responsabilités

• Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems and pipelines.
• Develop and implement robust ETL/ELT processes for ingesting, transforming, and preparing data for AI/ML applications.
• Build and optimize data warehouses and data lakes to support analytics and machine learning workloads.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to understand data requirements and provide clean datasets.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
• Implement data governance policies and procedures.
• Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to enhance data infrastructure.
• Automate data processes and reporting where possible.
• Stay current with industry best practices in data engineering and AI data management.
