Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer across our workflows. As an AI Integration Engineer, you own and ship the internal automation roadmap. This builder role focuses on production systems on top of AI, not model training.

You will turn a documented automation roadmap into shipped, working systems and collaborate with engineering and delivery leadership to implement end-to-end automation that supports architects and developers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

Responsibilities

• Build agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrations with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Internal tools that reduce manual hours across our design and development production process.
• Automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and our internal CMS.
• MCP server integrations as part of our broader AI stack.
