Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking an AI Developer to own and ship an internal automation roadmap. This builder role focuses on production systems atop AI models, not model training.

You will work with engineering and leadership to transform documented automation roadmaps into deployed workflows, leveraging LangChain, LangGraph, and integration with OpenAI/Anthropic APIs for tool use and function calling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
• English sufficient for async written work with a US-based team.

Responsibilities

• Agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrations with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs including tool use and function calling.
• Internal tools that reduce manual hours across our design and development production process.
• Automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and our internal CMS.
• MCP server integrations as part of our broader AI stack.
