Job summary

Bamboo Works is seeking an AI Automation Specialist to design, build, and continuously improve AI-powered bookkeeping workflows. You will create scalable AI agents, integrate business systems, and develop automation frameworks for a potential commercial platform.

The role demands hands-on coding with Python, strong knowledge of LLMs, and extensive experience in deploying agent-based solutions in real business contexts. Remote, contract-based, with Australian hours and ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building AI-powered workflows, agents, or automation (2–3+ yrs).
• Strong experience with Claude and Claude Code.
• Experience designing and deploying agent-based or multi-agent systems.
• Solid understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, AI app development.
• Built practical AI solutions for real business environments.
• Hands-on with Python, APIs, workflow platforms, and system integrations.
• Deep knowledge of workflow architecture and process optimization.
• Ability to independently design, build, deploy and improve automation solutions.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
