Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Agronomist to provide expert guidance across diverse operations. This fully remote role enables you to advise farm managers, analyze crop performance data, and recommend strategies to optimize yield from anywhere, nationwide, without a physical office presence.

You will stay abreast of agricultural research and technologies while offering comprehensive remote support, with a focus on soil health, water management, and resource efficiency.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Agronomy, Soil Science, Crop Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in agronomy.
• Ability to analyze complex agricultural data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Excellent remote communication skills.
• Proficiency in using agricultural software and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote expert advice on crop selection, planting, nutrient management, and pest/disease control.
• Analyze agricultural data to provide actionable insights.
• Develop tailored agronomic strategies to improve crop health and productivity.
• Conduct virtual field assessments and guidance on soil conservation and water management.
• Stay updated on latest research and technologies to inform recommendations.
