Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Agronomist Consultant to provide expert advice and strategic guidance for agricultural operations. This fully remote role offers autonomy to optimize crop production, soil health, and sustainable farming across diverse landscapes.

You will conduct virtual assessments, develop tailored recommendations, and support farmers through digital channels, staying current with latest research and technologies.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in agronomy with a strong track record in crop consulting.
• In-depth knowledge of diverse crop types, soil management, and integrated pest management strategies.
• Proficiency in using remote sensing data, GIS, and agricultural software.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert agronomic advice on crop selection, planting, fertilization, and pest management.
• Conduct remote analysis of soil health, water usage, and crop performance data.
• Develop customized sustainable agricultural plans and best practice guidelines for clients.
