Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Agricultural Data Analyst to join its innovative agri-tech team, working from anywhere in South Africa. You will transform raw agricultural data into insights that drive farming decisions, analyzing crop yields, weather patterns, soil conditions, and market trends.

You will create reports and dashboards using Python, R, SQL, Tableau or Power BI, collaborate with agronomists and product teams, and ensure data integrity and privacy while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, Agricultural Economics, Agronomy)
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in agriculture
• Strong proficiency in Python, R and SQL
• Experience with data visualization tools Tableau or Power BI and statistical modeling
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large datasets from sensors, satellites, and farm software
