Qualifications

• Master's degree in Agribusiness, MBA, Economics, Agricultural Economics or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in agribusiness consulting, management or development with strong client advisory.
• Proven expertise in strategy development, market analysis, financial planning, and value chain development.
• Experience enabling access to finance for SMEs in agriculture.
• Knowledge of sustainable and climate-smart agriculture and development principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and feasibility studies for new agribusiness ventures.
• Develop business plans, financial models and investment proposals.
• Advise clients on operations, supply chain, and quality control improvements.
• Facilitate access to finance by connecting clients with investors and lenders.
• Identify value chain bottlenecks and propose improvement strategies.
• Guide on sustainable agriculture practices and meeting international standards.
• Develop and deliver training programs for entrepreneurs and managers.
