RWS seeks AI Conversation Recording Contributors to join an Afrikaans (South Africa) speech data collection project. This freelance role is remote, with a flexible schedule, roughly 2–4 hours daily, starting immediately.

You will record natural speech, annotate data, and provide metadata to help evaluate and improve AI language models. Fluency in Afrikaans and good English, plus attention to detail, are essential for quality results.

Formación

• Native-level fluency in Afrikaans (South Africa).
• Advanced level of English to understand written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail when providing annotations and recording metadata.
• Experience with speech recording or data annotation projects is an advantage, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Record or collect natural, spontaneous speech in accordance with the project guidelines.
• Participate in or capture speech from approved real-life situations, such as workplace conversations or casual one-on-one discussions.
• Complete individual or two-person conversational speech tasks, or participate in voice or voice-text interactions with an AI or machine-based system.
• Annotate collected speech data according to the instructions provided.
• Provide the required information and metadata related to each recording.
