Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Aerospace Systems Engineer to design, integrate, and test next-generation aerospace technologies from a home office.

You will collaborate with a global team, conduct simulations with MATLAB/Simulink and ANSYS, and develop specifications and test plans while ensuring compliance with DO-178C/DO-254.

This remote-first role rewards strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to manage complex tasks independently across time zones.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years hands-on aerospace systems engineering experience.
• Experience with remote, distributed teams and self-management.
• Knowledge of DO-178C/DO-254 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and analyze complex aerospace systems, components, and subsystems.
• Run simulations and performance analyses to validate designs.
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams for system integration.
• Develop technical specs, requirements, and test plans.
• Oversee system integration and testing activities, including remote facilities.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers within the remote team.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
