Job description

Purpose

To provide specialist support to the distribution channels to build and sustain effective sales remuneration and incentive models, which are commercially sound and motivate Liberty’s sales force in driving Liberty’s quality, growth and retention strategies.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas in Mathematical Sciences or Engineering
  • 0-2 years’ experience in a similar environment

Responsibilities

  • Apply relevant tools and techniques to gather information effectively.
  • Perform required analyses for management reporting and make recommendations to support these analyses.
  • Mentoring and peer reviewing work of fellow team members.
  • Collate data requirements
  • Analyse data to provide information to inform optimal solution.
  • Stay abreast with latest tools and techniques to improve and streamline analysis work.
  • Ensure governance standards are adhered to and drive this within the team.
  • All work to be conducted with set governance standards, thus ensuring all work receives clean audit findings. This entails ensuring keeping abreast of internal audit requirements applicable to the team.
  • Translates and communicates information to users in a practical and usable format to enhance understanding of proposed solutions.

Technical Competencies

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of modelling techniques (Excel, SQL, Power BI)
  • Analysis of complex data
  • Converting analysis into a simplified value proposition for sales channels, as well as Finance stakeholders, to sign-off.
  • Assist in drafting papers for Executive remuneration committee approval.
  • Assist in drafting business requirement specs for solution automation.
