Role Overview
The CEO will be responsible for leading and overseeing the overall strategic direction, financial performance, and operational excellence of the company. This role involves ensuring the successful execution of the company’s vision and mission in the mobile money industry, driving financial inclusion, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with a strong background in financial services, fintech, mobile payments, and digital transformation, with a hands-on approach.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of executive leadership experience in fintech, banking, telecommunications, or mobile financial services.
- Proven success in leading high-growth businesses, scaling mobile money operations, and promoting digital financial inclusion.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, AML/KYC requirements, and risk management principles.
- Experience in strategic partnerships, investor relations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports, market trends, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement the company’s long-term vision, mission, and strategic plan to ensure growth and sustainability.
- Identify new markets, partnerships, and revenue streams to expand the company's reach and promote financial inclusion.
- Lead innovation in mobile money solutions, aligning with emerging technologies and customer needs.
- Drive expansion strategies through partnerships with banks, telecom operators, merchants, and other financial institutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, regulators, financial institutions, and technology partners.
Financial Performance & Risk Management :
- Oversee financial management, ensuring profitability, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.
- Develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to meet business objectives.
- Implement risk management policies and compliance frameworks to mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations, including AML and KYC standards.
Operational Excellence & Technology Innovation :
- Oversee development and deployment of innovative mobile money services to enhance accessibility, affordability, and usability.
- Promote operational efficiency and digital transformation to improve customer experience and scalability.
- Lead product development for new payment solutions, remittances, merchant services, and fintech innovations.
- Ensure cybersecurity measures and data protection policies are in place to secure customer data and transactions.
Leadership & Team Management :
