Job summary

MORE Collection operates luxury lodges in the Sabi Sand area. The Relief Lodge Manager provides senior operational leadership, rotating between Lodge Manager and Guest Experience Manager roles to cover planned leaves and ensure service continuity across Ivory and River Lodges.

This position requires flexibility to move between properties, manage guest experience at the highest levels, maintain impeccable presentation, and lead teams through relief periods while upholding luxury standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a management role within luxury hospitality.
• Experience managing guest-facing operations in a luxury setting.
• Strong understanding of lodge operations and service excellence.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and manage priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide rotational leadership for Guest Experience across two lodges, ensuring seamless guest service.
• Oversee day-to-day lodge operations, guest arrivals, room allocations and itineraries.
• Lead risk and safety compliance, quality assurance and maintenance of presentation standards.
• Foster collaboration with Heads of Department and ensure effective handovers.
• Support guest satisfaction initiatives and staff development during relief periods.
