Job description

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Relationship Manager to own customer-led product development strategy for first-to-market agricultural procurement platform, backed by South Africa’s leading digital media group.

This Relationship Manager role is based in Cape Town (hybrid), paying up to R420K PA.

THE COMPANY :

This tech company is building a first-to-market procurement platform designed to digitise agricultural supply chains across the world. Their core offering encompasses geolocation tracking, supply chain traceability, performance analysis, and financial services solutions under a single platform that will allow producers unprecedented productivity increases.

They are backed by South Africa’s largest & most successful digital media group, giving them the reach, credibility, and resources to scale their platform globally and reshape the agricultural sector.

THE ROLE :

As the Relationship Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the customer experience, driving the onboarding, support, and engagement of buyers and suppliers using the procurement platform. You’ll lead training sessions, resolve queries, and equip users with the tools they need to navigate the platform confidently.

You’ll leverage customer feedback to influence product improvements, working closely with the product team to ensure user needs are met and integrated into the platform's evolution. Additionally, you’ll create essential content such as guides and FAQs, while leading community engagement efforts through webinars and events.

As the sole owner of the customer experience function, you’ll directly impact user success and retention, playing a key role in the platform’s growth and development.

THE REQUIREMENTS

2+ years' experience in customer success, relationship management, or product support - ideally in B2B SaaS or marketplace environments.

Confident delivering product training, walkthroughs, and support sessions.

Able to troubleshoot basic technical issues and explain concepts clearly.

Comfortable using tools like HubSpot, Intercom, or Zendesk.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
