Job description

Primary Purpose

The role is responsible for retaining and growing a portfolio of high-value foreign exchange clients by delivering specialist foreign exchange solutions, exceptional client service, and strategic financial guidance. The role focuses on driving non-interest revenue growth through the acquisition of new-to-bank forex customers, deepening existing client relationships, and identifying opportunities to cross-sell the Bank's products and services aligned to clients' business and banking needs.

Experience

• 3 - 5 years previous experience in same or similar role within the financial services industry.

• Ability to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, retain clients and portfolio growth targets
• In-depth understanding of foreign exchange products, international payments, foreign currency accounts, FX market, Treasury and cross-border banking solutions
• Building, managing, and retaining high-value client relationships

• Ensure the receipt and capturing of customer information accurately during the account origination process
• Ensure client onboarding is aligned to internal processes i.e. compliance, credit, internal stakeholder engagement etc.
• Ensure accurate capturing, updates and amendments of customer information
• Perform KYC verification throughout customer lifecycle
• Assist with SARB related matters and manage applications
• Follow up with all parties to ensure that queries are resolved
• Maintain CRM updates
• Prepare required reports
• Track and report on pipeline performance and portfolio growth
