Job Description
New Business Organisation: Devise short-term tactical plans to meet annual budgets and targets within a 6 to 12-month timeframe. Identify, develop, and source new High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth relationships through personal and client referrals, internal networks within Absa Group Limited, and fostering collaboration within the group and WIMI business unit. Achieve personal targets for new and existing clients across Transactional Banking, Credit, FX, and contribute to referring relevant business to other parts of Wealth Advisory and the broader Absa Group.
Client Service - Manage and Grow Existing Client Relationships: Conduct quarterly meetings with clients in your designated portfolio; undertake annual credit reviews to assess clients' financial health, with cooperation from regional teams. Maintain high levels of service and delivery, ensuring all support teams work together to enhance client experience. Act as the key contact and coordinator for all client advice related to Transactional Banking, Credit, FX. Liaise with internal stakeholders to support business objectives in Structured Lending, Advisory, FX, SSG, and Investment Banking. Serve as the main contact point for client transaction queries across multiple locations within the region.
Client Relationship Management: Maintain high service levels; act as the primary contact for banking and credit advice and client queries; serve as the interface between clients and various parts of Absa Group Limited and WIMI.
Involvement in Credit-Related Tasks: Engage with clients to gather information related to Transactional Banking, Credit, FX; ensure efficient client interactions; provide information on security status reports and financial analysis; ensure timely credit reviews; liaise with product teams to complete credit reviews, overdrafts, and home loans.
Governance and Control: Ensure compliance with global and market standards, regulatory requirements, KYC, product delivery, and operating procedures as per the Front Office manual.
Query Resolution: Handle client portfolio queries; act as the escalation point for serious client complaints.
Operational Support: Prepare accurate and timely client documentation; serve as the focal point for daily client administration across services and products.
Education
Postgraduate Degrees and Professional Qualifications in Business, Commerce, and Management Studies.
