Job Description

Urang Property Management is seeking an analytical, empathetic, and detail-oriented Relationship Associate to join our growing team. This role is critical in supporting strong and responsive relationships between our Onboarding Team, Property Management team, and our Residents.

As a key point of contact, you will ensure that residents' concerns are acknowledged and resolved effectively, contributing to an exceptional overall living experience. You will proactively engage with residents, coordinate issue resolution with internal teams, and help identify service trends that inform continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with residents via phone and email to assess satisfaction, address concerns, and provide timely support.
  • Serve as a liaison between residents and internal departments to ensure efficient issue resolution.
  • Track, document, and follow up on resident concerns and service requests, ensuring closure and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and service outcomes using internal platforms.
  • Escalate urgent or unresolved matters with clear context to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Identify common trends or recurring concerns and suggest improvements to enhance the resident experience.
  • Maintain a professional, empathetic, and responsive tone in all resident interactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or property management systems.
  • Ability to maintain patience and professionalism in challenging situations.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and interacting with a diverse resident population.
  • Solid understanding of property management processes.
  • Experience in client or customer relationship management.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or resident relations.
  • Experience in conflict resolution or mediation.
  • Background in property administration, leasing, call centre support, or concierge services.

Salary and Benefits

  • R15,000 per month
  • 15 days annual leave (plus South African public holidays)
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm (SA time)
  • Hybrid work arrangement with occasional visits to Stellenbosch

This is a hybrid position. Applicants must be based in the Cape Town/Winelands area or nearby, with the ability to attend occasional in-person meetings in Stellenbosch. A stable internet connection is essential, particularly during load shedding.
