Job summary

FirstRand RMB is seeking a Relationship Analyst to support lending decisions through in-depth credit analysis and risk assessment, aligning with client relationship strategy. You will evaluate credit data, prepare proposals, and help drive responsible growth in a fast-paced banking environment.

Based in Potchefstroom or Klerksdorp, you will collaborate with the Credit Product House, ensure governance, data integrity, and deliver strong customer experience while identifying cross-sell

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce or Business Banking Degree.
• 3–5 years banking experience.
• Credit record check under the National Credit Act (NCA).

Responsibilities

• Analyse credit data to estimate degree of risk in extending credit or lending money.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience against Balanced Scorecard standards.
• Maximise cross-sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
• Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
• Ensure effective Data Management by attending to expired limits.
• Prepare credit proposals for review by the Credit Product House.

Responsibilities

• Analyse credit data to estimate degree of risk in extending credit or lending money in support of a broader client relationship
• Achieve the delivery of exceptional customer experience against the Balanced Scorecard standards
• Maximise Business Portfolio cross sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships
• Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements
• Ensure effective Data Management by ensuring expired limits are attended to against set target
• Prepare credit proposals for review by the Credit Product House Compliance with procedures and processes contained in the Golden Rules

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor of Commerce or Business Banking Degree
• 3-5 years banking experience
• In accordance with National Credit Act (NCA) candidates applying for this role will require a credit record check

The successful incumbent can be based in either Potchefstroom or Klerksdorp.
