Job summary

Revolut Ltd in South Africa is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory frameworks around wealth and trading features. You will ensure consumer protection practices remain compliant while providing oversight on obligations and related controls across the business.

The role requires deep regulatory expertise in MiFID, EMIR, PROD, and the ability to implement policies, conduct gap analyses, and train teams. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in regulatory compliance within consultancy, compliance function, or regulator.
• Expertise in wealth and trading obligations (MiFID, EMIR, PROD).
• Knowledge of regulatory gap analysis and policy creation/implementation.
• Understanding of compliance risk vs business risk and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication with internal teams and regulators; excellent analytical skills.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight on compliance obligations for wealth and trading products and related controls.
• Ensure high-quality regulatory mapping across the business.
• Challen ge, assess, and implement policies from scratch.
• Review 1LoD compliance approvals for wealth & trading products and provide feedback.
• Implement a company-wide training and competency program for wealth & trading.
• Provide 2LoD oversight on complaints and root-cause analysis.
• Oversee horizon scanning for relevant geographies.

Our Compliance team blends regulatory expertise with data-driven thinking to make sure our products meet legal and policy requirements and deliver real value to customers. In a fast-moving, digital environment, they stay one step ahead by finding smart, scalable ways to manage conduct risk.

We're looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory frameworks around wealth and trading features. You'll keep our consumer protection practise in compliance while providing oversighton regulatory obligations and related controls.

What you'll be doing

• Providing oversight on compliance obligations for wealth and trading (W&T)products and related controls for operations across the business
• Ensuring high-quality regulatory mapping
• Challenging, assessing, and implementing policies from scratch
• Reviewing 1LoD compliance approvals for W&T products, and providing appropriate feedback
• Implementing a robust, company-wide training and competency program for W&T
• Providing 2LoD oversight on W&T complaints, diving into root-cause analysis to drive better customer outcomes
• Overseeing horizon scanning for relevant geographies

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in a regulatory compliance role within a consultancy, compliance function, or regulator, with expertise in W&T related obligations (MiFID, EMIR, PROD)
• A university degree in STEM, business, or finance
• Knowledge of how to conduct regulatory gap analysis
• Familiarity with policy creation and implementation
• A solid understanding of the interplay between compliance risk and business risk
• The ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects at once, and meet tight deadlines
• The ability to communicate positively with members of various internal teams and regulators
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English
