Cure Day Hospitals - East London, Beacon Bay is seeking a Registered Nurse - Theatre to join our Nursing team in the Eastern Cape. The candidate should scrub and assist in anaesthetic procedures and hold current SANC registration with a minimum of five years theatre experience.

Willingness to work shifts, manage risks, and uphold infection prevention protocols is required. A Diploma or certificate is advantageous, with focus on CPD and high-quality patient care.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current registration with SANC as a Registered/Professional Nurse.
• Prior scrubbing experience, minimum 5 years is essential.
• Anaesthetic experience is essential.
• Diploma or certificate will be advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts in accordance with the requirements of the Unit.
• Competent in the demonstration and assessment of all clinical procedures and management of risks.
• Basic knowledge of stock control principles.
• The ability to identify and report near-misses and adverse events.
• Knowledge of clinical procedures, the scientific nursing process and Best Care Always bundles.
• A good understanding and application of the nursing scope of practice and knowledge of patient care.
• Be able to function as an effective member of the nursing team by facilitating team effectiveness.
• Displays a concern for excellence by following work routines and standards while achieving results.
• The ability to display sound judgment in problem-solving.
