Sustainability Management
In collaboration with the Environmental and Sustainability department, develop appropriate business targets, metrics, and processes for measuring performance at the hospital level aligned to the company’s ESG objectives and targets.
- Roll out the ESG Framework and measure performance at the hospital level.
- Execute awareness programmes on sustainability goals and provide training to the Hospital staff.

ManCo Teams
- Collate and analyze regional monthly sustainability data (SD).
- Analyze SD trends to monitor hospital and regional performance and develop action plans.
- Provide regional monthly and quarterly ESG target performance reports to the Regional ManCO Team and Environmental and Sustainability department, including recommendations to improve sustainability performance.

Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Compliance
- Monitor the implementation of hospital-specific SHE legal register in collaboration with Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental and Sustainability departments.
- Conduct training and awareness at the hospital level to ensure understanding and competence of SHE legal requirements.
- Compile a regional SHE legal audit tool and conduct regional SHE legal compliance audits to verify compliance at the hospital level. Coordinate the external legal SHE compliance audits at hospitals.
- Provide regular feedback and reports on deviations and develop corrective and preventative actions in collaboration with the Hospital ManCo Teams.
- Ensure compliance with SHE legislation, policies, standards, rules, and procedures.
- Coordinate and facilitate integrated regional Waste Committee meetings in line with OHSC and HCRW regulations requirements.
- Keep abreast with SHE legal updates and new requirements.
- Conduct off-site third-party/vendor SHE legal audits, particularly for Health Care Risk Waste (HCRW) service providers as required.
- Review SHE incident investigations at the hospital level, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Environmental Management System (EMS) Implementation
- Compile a hospital-specific EMS policy and guidelines aligned with the company’s EMS framework.
- Lead the implementation of EMS requirements at the hospital level.
- Conduct training and awareness at the hospital level to ensure understanding and competence of the company’s EMS.
- Coordinate the development and annual review of the hospitals' environmental aspects, impacts and management measures.
- Drive EMS requirements across all hospital functions/units (e.g., Nursing, Engineering, Pharmacy, Service providers).
- Ensure integration of EMS requirements at hospitals.
- Perform internal EMS audits and ensure a clear understanding of requirements.
- Conduct and coordinate workplace inspections to evaluate the effectiveness of environmental risk controls.
- Conduct regional EMS verification audits in preparation for external EMS audits and coordinate/participate in LHC external ISO 14001 audits.
- Evaluate and coordinate environmental emergency and disaster preparedness plans and response.
- Lead the investigation and external reporting for environmental major incidents, assist in identifying root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Regional SHE Manager Coast
- Job Description includes developing, reviewing, and updating regional environmental management procedures and waste management plan for the hospital in line with group procedures and waste management plan.
- Attend regional and Head Office feedback meetings.
- Provide monthly reports to the Environmental and Sustainability department, including trends and corrective actions on deviations, non-conformances, and incidents at the regional level.

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management
- Develop regional OHS strategies aligned with the company’s Occupational Health and Safety Framework and Policy.
- Integrate regional OHS objectives with hospital processes and provide awareness information and training on the policy.
- Roll out the implementation of the OHS framework and conduct hospital-specific OHS risk assessments (baseline, continuous, issue-based).
- Plan and conduct Occupational Health and Safety internal audits and participate in external audits.
- Lead investigation for lost time injuries and Occupational Diseases, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Review Injuries On Duty and Occupational Disease data; prepare reports on incidents and provide statistics to hospital and region; report OHS Act sections 24 & 25 incidents to DEL and DOH where necessary.
- Create, maintain and review a region and hospital-specific OHS plan; coordinate targeted medical surveillance; oversee COID Act case management; adapt and implement guidelines for managing OHS of contractors/service providers; oversee regional Emergency Preparedness and management; provide regular reports on all Health and Safety matters to the OHS department; ensure compliance with OHS policies and procedures.
- Develop hospital-specific OHS inductions for new employees and contractor/service provider inductions; coordinate hospital-specific ionizing radiation management; plan occupational hygiene surveys for the region/hospital.

Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or Environmental Science/Management
- Minimum of 5 years of industry work experience in the SHE role, preferably in Healthcare
- Excellent knowledge and application of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
- Leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others
- Experience in SHE legal compliance monitoring and in developing SHE frameworks and policies
- Knowledge and experience in ISO 14001 EMS implementation
