Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Regional Sanitation Supervisor to oversee sanitation operations across multiple sites in Limpopo, including Polokwane. The role requires strong leadership, logistical planning, and a deep understanding of cleaning requirements in commercial and industrial settings.

You will manage a regional team, develop schedules, perform site audits, ensure health and safety compliance, and maintain records while liaising with clients to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in sanitation or facilities management, with at least 2 years in a regional supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead dispersed teams effectively.
• Strong understanding of sanitation best practices, chemicals, and equipment used in commercial and industrial settings.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations specific to South Africa.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and logistical skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Limpopo Province.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all sanitation activities across various client sites within the Limpopo Province.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of regional sanitation teams, ensuring adherence to company standards and safety protocols.
• Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules and operational plans tailored to the specific needs of each site.
• Conduct regular site audits and quality control checks to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and cost-effective management across the region.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout Limpopo.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients regarding sanitation services, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Investigate and resolve any operational challenges or client complaints related to sanitation services.
• Maintain accurate operational records, including staff performance, service delivery metrics, and supply usage.
