Job Summary

Contribute to tactical planning from an operational perspective. Implement and deliver approved operational plans for the Limpopo/Polokwane Region. Accountable for Broker Partner & Portfolio Management in terms of AIC Product suite marketing through various Intermediated Distribution Channels aligned with AIC's Growth and Profitability Strategy.

Job Description

  • People Management: Coach, mentor, and manage team members to drive business objectives and ensure colleague development.
  • Client Liaison and Retention: Manage the regional budget, monitor costs, and provide input on cost-savings and resource allocation.
  • New Business: Identify opportunities within portfolios for cross-selling and unlocking opportunities for other business units. Seek new business through existing relationships and exercise initiative.
  • Client Management: Establish processes for client management, including account management plans and needs analysis.
  • Network and Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business continuity.
FAIS Fit and Proper Requirements (Advice and Intermediary Service):
  • FSCA-Approved Qualification
  • Regulatory Exam for Representatives (RE5)
  • Experience as per the FAIS Act
  • Product-specific training upon onboarding
  • Class of Business Training
  • Continuous Professional Development
  • Attest to honesty, integrity, and good standing
Preference for candidates residing in Limpopo/Polokwane with strong Broker and Account Management experience.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies (Required)
