The Regional Sales Manager (South) is responsible for managing sales teams to ensure effective coverage and optimized sales execution in the Public and Private markets for Ostomy Care in the Western Cape and Eastern Cape. The role involves recruiting, coaching, developing, and managing a regional sales team.

The manager will support the Distributor Partner – OC sales teams – to achieve sales targets by communicating sales plans, strategies, and priorities. Additionally, the role includes building relationships with key customers and Coloplast partners.

This position involves leading the business, sales teams, individuals, Coastal KAM, and customers within the region. The Regional Sales Manager (South) reports to the Country Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the Business
  2. Owning sales results for Coloplast OC Sales Developers and Territory Managers in the region.
  3. Building and maintaining partnerships with the Distributor and collaborating with Coloplast KAM to meet business goals.
  4. Understanding business drivers and guiding team priorities.
  5. Providing input for sales target distribution and managing contracts.
  6. Exploring new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with key accounts.
  7. Acting as a liaison among various organizational functions and partners.
  8. Managing sales results, resource alignment, stock forecasting, and key account management.
  1. Leading the Sales Team
  2. Recruiting, inducting, and developing talent.
  3. Translating business plans into actionable objectives.
  4. Building, leading, coaching, and motivating high-performing teams.
  5. Implementing standard sales processes and maintaining visibility in the field.
  1. Leading the Individual
  2. Fostering people growth and managing individual performance.
  3. Providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
  1. Leading and Driving the Customer
  2. Managing major key accounts and monitoring competitor activity.
  3. Developing relationships with key customers and negotiating contracts.
  4. Ensuring product quality, value-added services, and effective procurement processes.

**Professional Qualifications:**

  • Graduate or post-graduate degree in Nursing, Medicine, Business, or related fields.
  • 10+ years in Ostomy Care, Wound Care, or Continence Care.
  • 10+ years in Regional Sales Management.
  • Proven success in building high-performing teams and delivering sales targets.
  • Experience in medical sales, business acumen, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and clinical knowledge.
