Job description

Regional Sales Manager needed to manage and direct the marketing and sales function in Gauteng North.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing policies and strategies to drive business growth.
  • Create and manage the marketing business plan, including distribution channel expansion, sales target setting, and performance tracking.
  • Establish and oversee the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of marketing strategies to adapt to market changes.
  • Determine and secure necessary resources, including financial budgets, to support marketing initiatives.
  • Formulate and enforce sales policies and procedures to optimize sales performance.
  • Manage and mentor sales staff, ensuring they meet or exceed performance targets.
  • Generate and analyze sales statistics and reports to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.

Customer Relations :

  • Foster and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.

People Management :

  • Lead and manage regional provincial structures, including training, development, and performance management of staff.
  • Conduct regular visits to provincial offices to provide support and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Stakeholder Relations & Market Analysis :

  • Conduct thorough stakeholder analysis to understand their impact on the business.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Understand and navigate the impact of stakeholder policies on business operations.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and interaction processes with key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications :

  • Matric
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • Regulatory Examination (RE) 5 Certification
  • Regulatory Examination (RE) 1 Certification
  • Valid Driver's License

Required Experience :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Insurance industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in People Management.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in category A.
  • Skillset Required : RE5, RE1, Insurance Sale
