Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the territory sales strategy, including managing target accounts.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, including responding to RFPs/RFQs and negotiating contracts.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with local payment stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at major industry events and fintech summits.
  • Drive consistent revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities.

Regional Sales Manager - East / South Africa F / M

Based in Johannesburg or Nairobi

Your main responsabilities :

  • Own and execute the territory sales strategy, including managing target accounts and mapping key partners such as integrators and regulators ;
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, including responding to RFPs / RFQs, negotiating contracts, and managing regulatory onboarding requirements ;
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with local payment switches and other key stakeholders ;
  • Represent the company at major industry events and fintech summits across the region to increase brand visibility and generate business opportunities ;
  • Drive consistent revenue growth within the assigned territory by identifying and closing new business opportunities.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise sales within the payments or fintech sector, focused on East African and / or South African markets.
  • Proven expertise with card switching, payment processing, or digital wallet platforms.
  • Well-established network of C-level contacts across multiple Tier 1 and Tier 2 organizations in the region.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
