Role Overview

The Regional Sales Manager Acceleronix (RSMA) will be responsible for direct sales of Acceleronix's IoT connectivity and cloud offerings in the Anglophone-African region.

The RSM will formulate and implement account strategies to maximize sales results, either directly or through supporting Acceleronix Hardware Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) as a subject matter expert.

Responsibilities include leading sales efforts in direct accounts, prospecting strategic accounts, implementing account strategies, and closing opportunities.

The ideal candidate must have relevant IoT services experience and extensive experience in complex and solution selling.

The position reports to the Head of Sales EMEA at Acceleronix.

Provide subject matter expert support as a sales overlay, assisting sales teams throughout the sales process in close cooperation with local sales.

Drive deals directly for key accounts that do not necessarily involve hardware components.

Build relationships within targeted accounts to understand customer requirements and develop compelling value propositions based on Acceleronix's services.

Present Acceleronix's services, demonstrating familiarity with infrastructure, security, and integration capabilities.

Manage customer technical due diligence and risk management processes.

Communicate effectively at multiple organizational levels to demonstrate the company's value proposition.

Develop strategies to address customer objections and lead to closing sales.

Negotiate in later sales stages through customer visits, RFP responses, and coordination with third-party providers.

Meet and exceed sales targets by building strong relationships with senior executives.

Provide regular reports including activity, sales forecasts, visit reports, and market intelligence.

Leverage CRM tools to manage contacts and pipeline.

Advise management on market conditions and competitors.

Perform other duties as assigned to meet departmental objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in IoT industry, system integration, or wireless network sales.

Focus on new business development with a motivated, self-directed approach.

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.

Proven track record of meeting / exceeding quotas.

Business fluency in one local language and English.

Experience engaging with C-level relationships in enterprise accounts.

Technically proficient with long sales cycles.

Self-starter with a strong will-to-win.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.

Discretion, attention to detail, and customer problem-solving skills.

Willingness to travel 40%-60% within the territory.
