Duties and Responsibilities:
Implements brand awareness initiatives aligned with the company's automotive marketing strategy.
Develops and applies sales techniques to increase regional sales volumes.
Monitors and manages sales activities of Business Representatives to ensure target achievement.
Conducts regular sales meetings and schedules customer visits to evaluate service levels and take corrective actions.
Ensures compliance with warranty claim requirements including proof of purchase and technical diagnostics.
Manages regional claim rates in line with company standards and escalates concerns to the National Sales Manager.
Manages regional channel and express partner relationships in line with agreements.
Identifies and develops new channel partners based on qualifying criteria.
Oversees distribution and reverse logistics processes.
Strategically manages warehouse operations to align with company policies.
Oversees receiving warehousing distribution and stock counts.
Reports inventory variances, addresses stock losses, and enforces operational policies.
Identifies new business opportunities including potential dealers and distributors.
Recommends product enhancements to improve sales performance.
Monitors market share and develops action plans to grow the regional footprint.
Maintains departmental risk registers and monitors action plans to address audit findings.
Ensures compliance with relevant legislation and policy frameworks to prevent wasteful or irregular expenditure.
Establishes and maintains relationships with stakeholders through collaboration and effective communication.
Represents the company in stakeholder meetings and manages the stakeholder system.
Conducts performance appraisals and develops action plans for employee improvement.
Provides ongoing training and development opportunities.
Addresses employee relations matters promptly and fairly.
Cascades organizational objectives into individual performance contracts and ensures alignment.
Contributes to budget preparation and ensures efficient use of resources.
Monitors expenditure within budgetary limits and explores opportunities to reduce costs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Sales and Marketing Management or related fields (NQF 7)
Bachelor's Hons Degree in Sales and Marketing Management or related fields (NQF 8) advantageous
Experience in Sales and Marketing within the Manufacturing environment
Experience at Supervisory level
Knowledge of relevant Sales and Marketing Processes and Practices
