The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Sales Team in Gauteng and ensures the Regional Targets are achieved. Builds lasting customer relationships with Corporate Clients. Identifies and addresses customer needs by providing a wide variety of services.
Minimum Requirements:
Related Degree/Diploma
Up to 8 years related experience
Track record of achieving targets in products/sales driven environment
Principal duties and responsibilities:
Report to National Sales Manager on a regular basis;
Liaising with customers which may include actual selling, particularly to larger firms
Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company’s relationship with them.
Manage staff calendars and admin processes.
Liaise with National Sales Manager to Prepare sales presentations and proposals.
Provide the necessary support to sales associates to enable them to generate market leads and close new deals.
Manage customer service and promote customer satisfaction;
Communicate pricing structures and product delivery and specifications with relevant departments;
Develop and review long- and short-term sales strategies
Participate in interviews and the processes of recruiting new employees
With the National Sales Manager set the Objectives and KPI’s for the Gauteng Sales Team and ensure that the team delivers on the set objectives
Drive the Gauteng Sales Team to achieve targets as set by the National Sales Manager
Ensure that the Gauteng Sales Team is adequately equipped to deliver the expected standards and deliver on their targets.
Manage Exhibits stands with team within the Region.
Setup Weekly Meetings with Team to provide weekly progress
Train staff on new products
Manage staff leave and ensure it’s booked in ESS
Supervising, motivating, and monitoring sales team performance in Gauteng
