Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join the East London team.

Responsibilities
  1. Development of service station business plans in conjunction with retailers.
  2. Execution of business plans and monitoring of achievements with corrective action to ensure achievements in line with key performance indicators:
    1. Monthly calls in line with agenda.
    2. Sales target achievement against sales budget.
    3. Optimal resource allocation.
  3. Provision of market intelligence to management and point of contact for retailers on operational issues.
  4. Dealer Compliance in line with organisational and regulatory requirements:
    1. Payment for product in line with policy.
    2. Customer Service Agent and image stewardship evaluation.
    3. Dealer Satisfaction Index / Relationship Management via Retailer surveys.
  5. Dealer support:
    1. Training and subject matter expertise on process and standards.
    2. Accurate wet stock management.
    3. Corrective action in conjunction with maintenance and logistics teams as required.
Requirements
  1. Grade 12.
  2. Higher Certificate / National Diploma / Degree.
  3. 3-5 years customer account management experience in fuel / related industry.
  4. Un-endorsed drivers licence.
  5. Customer Relationship Management experience from the fuel industry / related.
  6. Intermediate computer literacy in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  7. Knowledge of SHEQ and regulatory requirements within the fuel / related industry.
