Overview

Regional Sales Manager required for a company based in Paarl

Company overview / Industry

Supplying greenhouse films, agricultural plastics, substrates, and farming inputs to nurseries and farmers — essentially agri supplies and horticulture

Position overview

The role will entail the maintaining of key customers as well as the forging of new customer relationships. The manager would work closely with directors in analysing market potential, forecasting and managing stock orders with the imports team.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • An understanding or background in the agricultural industry while not essential would be greatly advantageous
  • Must hold a formal degree or diploma
  • Proven work experience in senior sales and management (regional sales manager, area manager or similar senior sales role)
  • Ability to measure and analyse key sales performance indicators.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations
  • Strong organizational skills and problem-solving attitude, with the emotional maturity to handle any issues in a mature professional manner.
  • Ability to communicate well within a team as well excellent customer relation manner.
  • Availability to travel as needed for the company
Key Responsibilities
  • Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives.
