Job description

Our client in the TowerCo / Telecommunications environment is seeking a Regional Property Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis in Cape Town.

Role Overview:

The Regional Manager: Estates is responsible for managing and overseeing the estates and property portfolio within the respective regions. This includes ensuring optimal collaboration, regular travel within (WR / CR) regions and to the head office. The role involves staff, vendor, customer, and stakeholder management and relations, with a focus on efficiency, cost reduction, and process improvement. The manager will implement contractual terms, adhere to regulatory and company policies, and drive strategic estate projects such as lease renewals, landlord negotiations, and customer liaison, aligned with the company’s culture and performance framework.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Essential).
  • Relevant Degree or Diploma (e.g., BSC - QS, Building Science, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Town Planning, Property Management) (Essential).
  • Management courses or experience (e.g., MDP / MDC) (Desirable).
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, including:
    • 2-3 years knowledge of contractual legal requirements (Essential).
    • 2-3 years environmental knowledge (Essential).
    • 2-3 years town planning knowledge (Essential).

The role also requires managing rentals, developing cost reduction initiatives, maintaining high standards of customer service and quality, and preparing management reports and presentations.
