Job description

Objectives : Display leadership skills by leading and developing a highly motivated team of pest control operators to provide world-class service to our customers. Ensure team and company compliance with all legislation and regulations. Drive productivity and best practices across the team, branches, and region. Support General Managers and Regional Executives with day-to-day pest control operations. Liaise with branch service management.

Experience required : Sound technical and operational knowledge of working in the pest control industry. 3-5 years of specific experience in Food, Beverage, and Pharmaceutical HACCP clients. Knowledge of various HACCP standards, including (AIB, Woolworths, BRC, YUM, Pick n Pay, FSSC).

Role responsibilities :

1. Infield support for Sales Consultants regarding HACCP surveys and quotes.
2. Ensure effective resource and route planning to maintain and improve service delivery.
3. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and processes at client sites.
4. Infield assessment and training of pest control operators working in the HACCP environment.
5. Ensure competency of service teams in all aspects related to pest control services within the HACCP environment.
6. Identify training needs and assist in implementing necessary training, including organizing external training when required (e.g., GMP for AIB clients).
7. Roll out new contracts related to Food, Beverage, and Pharmaceutical sites.
8. Conduct client meetings and engagement during rollout.
9. Confirm contract requirements and plan the rollout.
10. Manage stock, tools, and equipment requirements.
11. Identify the appropriate service team for each contract and ensure team awareness of client commitments.
12. Ensure services are installed timely and correctly, managing the installation process end-to-end.
13. Ensure the use of handheld scanners and correct system setup according to Scope of Work and SLA.
14. Verify HACCP files and ensure reporting from contract inception.
15. Conduct client training on the Steiner portal.
16. Meet with clients weekly during the rollout period and provide monthly post-rollout reports.
17. Assist branches with stock forecasts for upcoming installations.
18. Customer engagement : Handle HACCP client queries, implement innovations, and agree on process changes for bespoke solutions.
19. Conduct customer reviews.
20. Client Assistance : Ensure clients are 'audit ready' post-rollout, maintain accurate HACCP documentation, develop site maps and reports, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
21. Engage in problem-solving to improve systems, processes, and services.
