Job description

National Ladies Fashion Retail Chain seeks experienced sales driven Regional Operations Manager Area Manager with experience in fashion apparel at an Area Manager Regional Operations Manager levelto take charge of 12 stores in the Durban PMB and South Coast region.

  • Managing all day to day activities within the area
  • Monitor sales performance of all stores and staff within the region
  • Evaluate performance in the achievement of budgets and take action where necessary
  • Monitor expenses
  • Identify ways in which to increase sales opportunities within each store
  • Protection of all assets through effective implementation of company policies and procedures
  • Proactively influence stockholding to ensure correct merchandise mix.
  • Ensure that promotional activity has been accurately implemented
  • Ensure strong visual standards across the stores inline with company standards
  • Ensure store layouts are inline with company standards
  • Ensure a strong level of customer service across the area
  • Ensure that company administration procedures are being adhered to
  • Knowledge of competitor business
  • To be accountable for the processes of succession planning staff development and recruitment planning to ensure all positions within the area are staffed to the optimum level
  • Staff training sessions guide stores by means of a training plan
  • Ensure customer friendly and efficient environment

Skills Experience Required :

  • 5 years retail experience in apparel
  • Sound IR knowledge

The suitable candidate will currently be functioning as an Area Manager.

Competitive salary negotiable based on experience Company Car.
