Job Purpose
Direct the management, implementation, and monitoring of a service-focused Supply Chain operation to achieve the strategic goals of the Supply Chain division.
KEY DUTIES
- Co-design and develop the Operations strategy for Supply Chain.
- Manage Service Centre inventory control and safekeeping practices for the division.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety policies and procedures.
- Manage the Service Centre budgets for the division.
- Drive Service Centre performance optimization and reporting (KPIs).
- Measure and evaluate the impact of Supply Chain Operations across the Group.
- Enable Customer Centricity.
- Manage human resources within the team.

Duties
- Contribute to the Supply Chain Strategy.
- Implement the Supply Chain Location strategy.
- Stay updated on local and international Supply Chain developments.
- Develop and implement Supply Chain Operations strategy, policies, and procedures.
- Execute the Supply Chain operating plan for short, medium, and long-term goals.
- Analyze Service Centre inventory reports, identify deviations, investigate causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure stock accuracy controls and safekeeping practices are in place.
- Implement inventory control measures.
- Provide feedback on inventory to the Operations Executive.
- Drive continuous performance improvements.
- Manage Service Centre budgets within financial constraints and approve operational expenditures.
- Investigate budget deviations and take corrective actions.
- Implement financial controls and prepare relevant reports.
- Protect company assets.
- Ensure compliance with Employment Equity and Skills Development legislation.
- Oversee onboarding and induction for new staff.
- Analyze labor requirements and address staffing needs.
- Enhance staff retention, monitor satisfaction, and reduce turnover.
